PIC32 Microcontoller

The BV523 is a microcontroller board based on the PIC32MX340-512. It has a built in Real Time Clock with battery back up, SDC Card holder and an interface for a 240x320 colour display.  When used without the display most of the I/O is available for general purpose use. When used with the display there is a second SD card interface.

When used in conjunction with BV-Basic this is very easy to program. There is also supplied and installed a boot loader so there is no need to use a programmer everything can be done from the USB.

Hardware

The board is supplied with the display connector fitted and a pack of connectors for the other pads, this is to allow maximum flexibility.
