New Free Firmware

The ByPic Firmware is now free and there is a new version for the BP1 or PICMX170 processor that incorporates the ability to read and write FAT files on an SD Card. The wiring details are here and the firmware is here

how do you manage to program the PICMX170?

I have both PicKit2 and PicKit3 and this useful processor does not seem to be supported.

Hi. Picked up my BV508 after a couple of years away from it. Installed new bvserial and PSpad. Bvserial found and talks to BV508 but when I send a program get the message "need version 2.3 or above" Updated firmware to 2.30 (with bootloader) but still get the same error message. Any clues?
