Hello jimeer, You don't know how useful your last post was to me! After so much trouble with all of this, going through all kind of crazy assumptions and alternative attempts of sending data from the pic32, I finally came to realize by the blinking led checker you proposed (which I had implemented ages ago and wanted to use to debug the UART program, but I somehow forgot to do that... ) thby nemo888 - BV513
Hello again, Thanks for the code, but I couldn't make it work. There's some configuration parameter I don't do right since I only receive DDDDDDDDDDDs on BV_com, and not at the frequency I'm sending data (the baud rate seems fine, but i send data with at least some hundred chars per second, I get 4DDD's/second). I've tried other forums, I've tried Microchip's forum, I can't get it to work. Yoby nemo888 - BV513
Well, the reason why I am using C programming is, perhaps, because I have no idea of the mBasic. What I am trying to do is a Bachelor thesis, and the only programming experiences I had were in C or assembler, not counting Matlab which is simplified C, I'd say. The project consists in building and controlling a quadcopter, and I have a lot of work done already, I can't just switch to another progrby nemo888 - BV513
Hello jimeer, and thanks for the reply. Yes I am programming in C but I download the programs using the boot loader that is provided with the board. Since there's a way to load programs into the pic32 of the bv513mini using the bv101, I supposed there is a way to receive data from the pic using uart2, since that's the way the bv101 uses to load the .hex files mplab produces into the board.by nemo888 - BV513
Hello everyone, So I had a different post where I ask about sending data to the pc, I'm doing this post to make my new question more visible, since I am a bit desperate for an answer. I am trying to send data from the bv513 to the computer using UART2 since it's the one used to download programs into the board anyway. I have tried using an example that comes with the mplabc32, since I was nby nemo888 - BV513
Hello again, Sorry for not having said anything about your answer but I didn't get it and thought it was because of my basic knowledge of.. all of this. But here I am again, since I really need to be able to send data from the bv513 to the pc. I understand what the function you wrote is supposed to do, but how do I manage to do that? I have tried following the uart_basic example that comesby nemo888 - BV513
Hello again, Yes, I do have the BV101 just as you presumed. Happily the problem was the cable and not something else. Many thanks for the reply jimeer!by nemo888 - BV513
Hey there, Hoping that someone can help: I am having problems with connecting the board to the PC, there used to be no problem with BV_com finding the COM port where the board connects, but now it does not find the board. In device manager it tells me that the device can't start. Also when I connect the board to the USB port, there used to be some blinking of the LED the board, but now thatby nemo888 - BV513
Hy there, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I could send data from the bv513 to the pc, I have an accelerometer connected to the board and I would like to see the data on my computer, but I have no idea how to do it. To anyone that might help, thanks in advance :)by nemo888 - BV513
Hy jimeer! Thanks for your reply, I finally have it working. What actually happened was that I had downloaded the archive with the projects before project one had been updated, that is, I had "BV513_V2_compiler_2_mplabx" but the other one was "BC513_V2_compiler_1_mplab8", and that's why it wasn't working. After I downloaded the new archive with the right projects, it workedby nemo888 - BV513
Hello all, I have recently bought a bv513 mini board (received 2 days ago) from ByVac, and just managed to load the blinking led project to the board, using BV_COM2 (release 1.31) and one of the projects provided fr the v2 bootloader. After loading the .hex fiel the led started blinking, but than I just built the project again with the tools I have installed and though it builds with no errby nemo888 - BV513
