ByPic Firmware
Update November 2017
ByPic is now a hex file that the user can program any PIC32MX170F256 device, this includes the DIL type B, 28 pin devices and the 44 pin type D devices. A PIC programmer will be needed. Existing devices can be overwritten with this hex file but if so the boot loader will be lost
Download from here ByPicMX170_2.3.108. There are 2 versions, one will support an SD card if wired using pins as this page.

There are variations because they have been compiled with the ByPic hardware but should work with similar boards.
How to upgrade
If you have the ByPic boot loader (board purchased from ByVac) then use BvSerial.
