RPi Serial 2017
Configuration for serial for the RPi is now done viw the desktop GUI or console using
sudo raspi-config
The above will ask if you want it enabled and what it will be used for. The console or general device use. Also:
/dev/ttyAMA0 - is now used for Bluetooth
/dev/ttyS0 - is the one used on the GPIO pins
